MELBOURNE, DEC 29: The Australian Cricket Board ACB is planning to lobby the game8217;s governing body to allow the mandatory use of floodlights at Test matches halted by rain and bad light.

ACB chief executive Mal Speed said Australia would press the International Cricket Council ICC to change its laws after more than an hour8217;s play was lost because of bad light on each of the first two days of this week8217;s second Test between Australia and India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
