In the same vein, she recently conducted an ask-me-anything session on Instagram during which she shared her skincare essentials, while also giving advice to her followers.
On being asked about a solution to deal with very dry skin, the actor-vlogger suggested starting every morning with a tablespoon of ghee. “I have it with a cup of coffee,” she said.
To shrink open pores, she asked to use skincare products with niacinamide. Niacinamide has been shown to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and redness. It also helps to improve skin texture and reduce pore size. It is often found in serums, moisturisers, and other skincare products and can be easily incorporated into a daily skincare routine.
There’s always a debate about the usage of sheet masks. While some say they help moisturise your skin, others find the claims bogus. According to the actor, they are “good enough for instant glow”.
Nude lipsticks are most women’s go-to, especially for regular use. But, many with darker skin tones struggle to find the right shade for themselves. “Apply a little foundation and then lipstick,” Debina said, on how to apply nude-coloured lipsticks for darker skin tones.
Direct sunlight can wreak havoc on one’s skin, leading to several concerns, with redness on the cheeks being one of the most common. To reduce the same, she suggested using sunscreen, avoiding direct sun exposure, and using any sun shade like a hat or umbrella.
A user asked, “I can’t retain my makeup for a long time because I have a sweat issue. Please tell me the perfect way to do makeup.” Debina replied, “Try skin icing.” For the unversed, Skin icing, also known as ‘cold therapy’, is a skincare technique where you apply ice or a cold object to your skin to improve its appearance and overall health. The process involves using a facial roller, an ice pack, or even an ice cube wrapped in a cloth to massage the skin gently.
