After a month of speculation, actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha got engaged to each other in a lavish ceremony in Delhi’s Kapurthala House. The couple shared photos from their engagement ceremony.

The couple took to Instagram to share identical posts that read, “Everything I prayed for-..I said yes. Waaheguru ji meher karan…,” wrote Parineeti while Raghav tweaked it to ‘she said yes’. While we are happy for the couple, we cannot get enough of their understated, sophisticated look from the ceremony.

Parineeti was dressed in an elegant soft-pink tissue silk kurta set that was paired with a Kashmiri thread work dupatta from the shelves of ace designer Manish Malhotra that had tone-on-tone embroidery and pearl embellishments. Her stunning jadau and flat-cut polki jewellery that had a contemporary flair were also from Manish’s jewellery label Raniwala 1881.

Sharing details of Parineeti’s chic look, Manish took to Instagram and shared, “@parineetichopra mesmerises in a soft-pink kurta complemented with pearl-adorned flair trousers and our ethereal signature Kashmiri thread work dupatta with our exquisite uncut jewellery for an idyllic engagement ensemble”.

The actor’s look was styled by Two Fold Styles and her makeup was done by makeup artist Heema Dattani.

Raghav, on the other hand, looked dapper in an ivory achkan made of pure khadi silk which he teamed with ivory pants and a matching kurta from designer Pawan Sachdeva, who also happens to be his uncle.

The couple’s engagement rings were equally gorgeous. Parineeti flaunted a stunning cushion-shaped diamond solitaire and Raghav wore a classic Cartier band.

The engagement party decor was kept as minimally white which was evident from photos shared by paparazzi accounts. In the photos, we can spot a lovely white floral decor with green foliage, and white fairy lights, against a white backdrop.

The intimate ceremony was attended by Parineeti’s cousin actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Malhotra, Derek O’Brien, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, among others.
