It’s Barbie’s world: All the best looks from the world premiere

Australian actor Margot Robbie wore a black sequinned embroidered Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress — a reference to the “Solo in the Spotlight” Barbie doll — according to her stylist Andrew Mukamal. The strapless dress was adorned with rhinestone embellishments, a nylon net flounce, and a red rose at the bottom.

She paired the outfit with a four-strand Lorraine Schwartz diamond choker, black arm-length glove, and black peep-toe heels while carrying a pink chiffon pocket scarf.

Ryan Gosling embraced his inner Ken in a Gucci plush two-piece suit with a crisp shirt in baby pink. He teamed the look with a Barbie pendant necklace and cream brogues. Gosling looked dapper as ever in the fit!

President Barbie Issa Rae decked up in a hot pink, key-hole gown featuring a turtleneck and large bow. She accessorised the look with a statement pink clutch and diamond drop earrings. With her tresses styled in a chic high ponytail, her look was the most Barbie-esque of all.

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj, who collaborated with Ice Spice for a rendition of Aqua’s “Barbie World” on the movie’s soundtrack, wore an outfit inspired by the Diva Gone Platinum Barbie, featuring a grey ribbed crop top and wrap detail draped maxi skirt.

Gal Gadot

Israeli model and actor Gal Gadot looked stunning in an asymmetric brown pin-striped dress by JW Anderson. She paired the look with a white asymmetric bag and perspex heels. Styling her hair in a slicked-back high ponytail, she opted for minimal makeup to round it off.

Dua Lipa

Singer Dua Lipa, who stars as Mermaid Barbie and is on the film’s soundtrack, hopped on the naked dress trend by donning a silver sheer custom dress with a square neckline. As for accessories, she chose metallic pump heels and silver earrings.

Greta Gerwig

The film’s writer, director, and executive producer Greta Gerwig arrived at the premiere in a head-to-toe hot pink look. She sported a pink blouse with a pussybow neckline with a floor-length maxi skirt and pink court heels. She added a pink oversized blazer and a matching Valentino bag to the look.

Billie Eilish

The American singer, who is on the soundtrack of film too, kept it business casual as she wore a pink oversized striped shirt with ankle-length black culottes. She complemented the look with a pink tie, a matching handbag, and platform shoes.

America Ferrera

America Ferrera walked the pink carpet in a soft-pink co-ord set including a bustier and a maxi skirt. Her beaded necklace and pink handbag added to the Barbiecore quotient.

Michael Cera brought the Ken-energy in a dapper salmon pink suit with a white shirt underneath. His black sunglasses added an edge to the whole look.

Simu Liu

Simu Liu, who plays another Ken in the movie, wore a pale blue outfit from the designer label Versace featuring a harness vest, a white crisp shirt, a blazer, and matching pants. His unconventional style amazed all of us.

Gymnast Barbie Kate McKinnon sported a hot pink two-piece set oozing Barbiecore vibes. She opted for silver stilettos and diamond earrings to finish the look.

Supermodel Ashley Graham looked gorgeous and wore a custom Nina Ricci dress which was a beautiful sheer polka-dot evening gown adorned with a massive, ruffled detailing along the bust. She styled the look with Chopard jewellery, including a dramatic pair of drop earrings adorned with pink gemstones. She completed the look with a Barbie-pink French manicure.
