Lightning strikes SPO dead

38-year-old Rattan Lal died on the spot when lightning struck him 170 kilometres from Jammu.

A Special Police Officer (SPO) died after lightning struck him in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir,police said here.

38-year-old Rattan Lal died when lightning struck him at Dudu-Basantgarh,about 170 kms from Jammu,in Udhampur district on Thursday evening,they said,adding he died on the spot.
