Sri Lankan government to ensure a decent living to the lakhs of displaced Tamil population and also provide a permanent solution to the problems faced by Tamil fishermen.
Efforts should be made to get back the Katchatheevu island and the adjacent seas at least on “lease on perpetuity” basis to enable Indian fishermen to fish without any further harassment, the memorandum said.
