Man gets death for killing five daughters

This is the first time in the district when a judge has awarded capital punishment to a convict.

A man was sentenced to death by a local court for brutally killing his five daughters.

District and Sessions Judge Ved Prakash Sharma yesterday pronounced the sentence to 42-year-old Magan Lal who had axed his daughters to death last year.

According to the prosecution,Magan who had eight children including five daughters from his two wives,had killed all his daughters in native Kaneriya village in Ichhawar tehsil here on June 11,2010.
