As fear grips their reality, a long-suppressed secret resurfaces — revealing how unhealed trauma can manifest in the most haunting of ways. Blending supernatural suspense with intense emotional drama, the horror-thriller is powered by Amruta Subhash. Moving beyond jump scares, the film attempts to explore psychological depths and emotional vulnerability. The upcoming Telugu original series Arabia Kadali, dropping on August 8, is a survival drama created by Krish Jagarlamudi and Chintakindi Srinivas Rao. The fictional series follows the story of a group of fishermen from rival villages who accidentally drift into international waters and find themselves imprisoned in a foreign land. At the heart of the series are two intertwined journeys—Badiri’s and his fellow fishermen’s harrowing ordeal through treacherous seas and captivity, and Ganga’s courageous rise as a woman who dares to challenge the system. Along the way, they form unexpected friendships, forge new relationships, and confront formidable foes. The lead cast features Satya Dev and Anandhi.

Written and directed by Bong Joon Ho, Mickey 17 is science-fiction layered with black comedy. The film is based on the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton and features Robert Pattinson as the lead. The Twilight stars as multiple clones in this South Korean film-maker’s follow up to Oscar-winner Parasite. Set in the year 2054, the story follows a man who joins a space colony as an ‘Expendable’, a disposable worker who is cloned every time he dies. The film’s cast also features Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Patsy Ferran, Cameron Britton, Daniel Henshall, Stephen Park, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo. The film drops on the streamer on Friday.
