After captivating audiences with an enthralling teaser last year, the makers of Nani-starrer Saripodhaa Sanivaaram have returned with a new teaser, sure to keep the hype surrounding the movie alive.

The new 195-second promo video begins with a shot of three individuals sitting in a hallway, smoking. Accompanied by the visuals, a voiceover can be heard. “Rage has many forms and every person’s rage is unique. But has anyone seen a maniac who unleashes his rage, methodically and meticulously, on just one day a week? I have,” the voiceover says, as Nani appears, exuding a full swagger vibe, chasing someone down a street.

As it progresses, the teaser introduces ‘Natural Star’ Nani’s character as Surya and the day he chooses to unleash his rage, Saturday. The promo video also offers glimpses of his physical strength as he single-handedly takes on his rivals.

Towards the end, the teaser also shows the character whose voiceover is heard throughout. In the middle of a prison cell, sits SJ Suryah, donning a police uniform with blood stains and criminals who have been visibly beaten black and blue, all around him. “Happy Birthday, brother, mwah,” he says with a devilish laugh.

The new teaser was unveiled on the occasion of Nani’s 40th birthday on Saturday. Initially named #Nani31, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is helmed by Vivek Athreya, known for movies such as Mental Madhilo, Brochevarevarura and Ante Sundaraniki. Bankrolled by DVV Entertainment, the film also stars Priyanka Mohan and Sai Kumar P in key roles. While the film’s music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, Murali G has been roped in as the DOP and Karthika Srinivas as the editor.
