Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar: The Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss Season 19 delivered one of its most intense Weekend Ka Vaar episodes on Saturday. Salman called out Tanya Mittal’s gameplay in front of the housemates and also gave Farrhana Bhat a serious reality check. However, what made this episode stand out was a moment that echoed a dramatic incident from nine years ago. Salman once again asked for the gates to be opened so that a contestant could leave the house. In Season 10, he had told Priyanka Jagga to “get out of my house,” and this weekend, it was Farrhana who received the same ultimatum.

In recent episodes, Farrhana’s behaviour has taken a negative turn. Last week, she was seen shaming and making personal attacks on fellow contestants. Matters escalated further when she insulted Gaurav Khanna and spoke dismissively about television as a medium. Addressing her remarks, host Salman said, “You want to stay in this house and say all kinds of filthy words, is this what you have been taught at home? You made so many extreme personal comments on national television. You have dragged people from outside on the show. You always say that these people are scared of you, but they don’t want to stoop to your level. You keep saying you don’t want to do TV, then what are you doing on this show?”

Salman continued, “I used to like that people are watching this show because of me, and they will get to know people from this house, now I am embarrassed that people will know someone like you because of me. This is going to harm your reputation and image, unless you want to get out of the show soon, because you have realized that this show is on TV. And TV is below your level, so I request Bigg Boss to save Farrhana from this torture, as you don’t wish to get over exposed.”

He went on to school Farrhana further and said, “This time you crossed all the lines. What is so bad about coming on TV? I also do this show. Shah Rukh Khan worked on television; he still does it alongside films. Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and Madhuri Dixit, we are all proud of doing TV. We don’t wish for you to get overexposed, so I have an offer for you. This medium and show are too small for you, so you are free to go. Please open the gates, guys. Farrhana, if you wish, you are more than welcome to leave.”

Salman Khan calls Gaurav Khanna a superstar

During last week’s captaincy task, Farrhana Bhat provoked Gaurav Khanna by questioning his career. The comment triggered an outburst, leading Gaurav to lose his cool and remind her of the stardom and recognition he has earned. Supporting Gaurav, Salman Khan told Farrhana, “If you have not seen Gaurav’s show on TV, then you are ignorant. Today, he is on the show, and he is extremely popular on TV. I have seen his show, my mother has seen it, so which world are you living in? I am saying he is a superstar, and his fans have made him that; he never claims to be one. He has been working for the last 20 years for 18 hours a day consistently, and he answered you back in a very dignified manner. He didn’t go personal at all. If I were there, I wouldn’t have been able to react the way Gaurav handled this. I would not have anyone speak to me about my career or my family.”

Further schooling, Farrhana, Salman added, “You don’t know the P of being a peace activist. I cannot imagine the way you behaved when Pranit returned after his illness. Are you and Tanya heartless? You didn’t even go to meet him. Who knows you and Tanya? I hope you know me. I am your host and have done some work. Farrhana has done a scene in Notebook, she had a six-second role in Simmba, and something else, but look at her attitude. These 105 days in Bigg Boss give you the kind of exposure that even doing multiple films as a lead might not provide. Imagine how many movies you would need to star in to match this level of visibility. After seeing you and your work, Farrhana, I am not going to be okay with you unless I don’t see a change in your behaviour.”
