Bigg Boss 17 confirmed list of contestants: Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain, Isha Malviya-Abhishek Kumar in Salman Khan show

Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain

One of the most talked about contestants this season, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain will be part of Bigg Boss. While the couple has always been vocal about their relationship, this is the first time they will be on a show together. Given Ankita’s straightforward personality, she’s a perfect casting for Bigg Boss but it would be interesting to see her compete with her husband in tow. Colors TV shared a promo of the married couple showcasing their chemistry through a romantic dance act.

Isha Malviya- Abhishek Kumar

Showcasing another side of a relationship, Udaariyaan actor Isha Malviya will step onto the stage along with former boyfriend Abhishek (Pandey) Kumar. The promo shared by the channel shows the two quarreling in front of Salman Khan, leaving the host quite amused. While Isha will blame Abhishek for being possessive and even accuse her of infidelity, Abhishek will feign innocence and share how she has been disrespectful to him in their affair. Jigna Vora

Indianexpress.com had exclusively reported about former journalist Jigna Vora being finalised for Bigg Boss 17. The crime reporter was jailed for allegedly being involved in the murder of another senior journalist. She penned her experience as a biographical memoir Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison, which was later adapted by Hansal Mehta as the web show Scoop for Netflix.

Mannara Chopra

Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra’s cousin Mannara Chopra will also be seen in Bigg Boss 17. The actor, who made her debut with Zid, was recently embroiled in a controversy when her Thiragabadara Saami director allegedly kissed her forcibly. Mannara’s real name is Barbie Handa but she changed her name after entering the entertainment industry. While entering Bigg Boss 17, she would be seen dancing with Salman Khan on his and Priyanka’s song “Lal Dupatta”.

Munawar Faruqui

Fans are most excited about comedian and singer Munawar Faruqui’s presence in Bigg Boss 17. Having won Lock Upp season 1, Munawar will be entering with experience and with fans’ love by his side, he’s going to be one of the strongest contenders this season. As per the promo, Munawar will enter as a ‘shayar’ and will be seen having a fun interaction with host Salman Khan.

The standup comedian was also arrested in 2021 for allegedly hurting religious sentiments on his show. He spent 37 days in custody before the judge shrugged off the case as ‘vague’. Munawar used the angst of his experience in the ALTBalaji reality show and emerged as the winner last year.

Sana Raees Khan

Indianexpress.com had reported about former Miss India Manasvi Mamgai deciding to back out of Bigg Boss 17 at the last moment. The Trial actor had a disagreement with the makers and thus her entry has been put on hold. As per Bombay Times, lawyer Sana Raees Khan has been signed overnight as her replacement.

Navid Sole

UK’s ‘sassy’ pharmacist Navid Sole will be part of the show as an international contestant. The teaser about his entrance has host Salman Khan trying to teach him Hindi as they indulged in some fun chat.

Rinku Dhawan

Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki actor Rinku Dhawan has also been confirmed for the show. The actor, who was married to Kiran Karmarkar, is known to be bold and bindaas and thus would be a strong voice on Bigg Boss 17.

Neil Bhatt- Aishwarya Sharma

Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 second runner-up Aishwarya Sharma was offered Bigg Boss 17 while on the adventure reality show. She decided to take up the opportunity and will be joined by husband Neil Bhatt in the house. As per reports, while the couple entered the stage together, they were separated by Bigg Boss and Salman Khan.

YouTubers Sunny Arya, Arun Srikanth and Anurag Dhobal

While there’s no confirmation as yet, as per social media buzz, content creators Sunny Arya, Arun Srikanth and Anurag Dhobal are also part of Bigg Boss 17.

Feroza Khan and Soniya Bansal

MTV Hustle fame Feroza Khan is also said to enter the show. As per reports, she is the girlfriend of Bigg Boss OTT 2 Jad Hadid. On the other hand, actor Soniya Bansal’s name is also doing rounds in the media. She recently made her debut with Shakti Kapoor and Rahul Roy’s film 100 crore.

Bigg Boss 17 will air Monday-Friday, 9 pm on Colors TV.
