Stepping up

Madhuri Dixit Nene and Karan Johar

At the launch of the seventh season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, film-maker Karan Johar, who has been in the judge’s seat for sometime now, announced that this time he isn’t going to shake his leg at all. He said he is a “national embarrassment” when it comes to dancing and thus it’s better if he avoids that.
However, it’s quite the contrary for Karan’s co-judge Madhuri Dixit Nene, who is all excited to be on the show yet again. Interestingly, the actress, who has been known for her sensuous dance moves, is learning international dance forms this time. Though she has been saying that it is just for the dance reality show, we have a feeling that she is polishing up her talent for some movie. When we quizzed her about that, she merely flashed her dazzling smile in response!

All wrapped up

Atul Kulkarni seemed to be in for a huge surprise,  recently. The actor, who is known for his versatile acting, bought some fried fritters from a roadside stall and as he opened the packet to have some piping hot bhajias, lo and behold, he found himself looking at his own picture staring back from the paper in which the bhajias were wrapped. A happy coincidence, we say.
