Shahid’s next is titled Farzi

Actor Shahid Kapoor’s next with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. has finally got a title. The action – thriller will now be called Farzi and the makers are currently in the process of registering the title. Kapoor’s character in the film will be that of a bad boy, but Nidimoru stated that he is not the villain. “It’s just that his character has negative shades. Farzi will be a commercial action-thriller and we think Shahid will play the perfect bad boy,” mentioned Nidimoru. Interestingly, in an earlier interview with us, Kapoor had mentioned that he really wants somebody to cast him as a bad boy and would love to play a character who is just bad, without any explanation.
The makers are currently in the process of wrapping up the post-production work of the Saif Ali Khan – Priety Zinta starrer Happy Ending. “We will take some time before shifting our focus on Farzi, since it’s a completely different genre. We are in the process of zeroing in on the locations and rest of the cast, which should be finalised by mid – August. We do have a few actresses in mind for the female lead’s role, but we haven’t spoken to anyone yet,” Nidimoru stated. With the script ready and the lead protagonist in place, the film will be ready to go on the floors by the end of this year.
