While Danny’s son, Rinzing is being coached and trained for an acting career in Bollywood, and Vinod Khanna’s son Sakshi is waiting in the wings to make his film debut, reportedly in Milan Luthria’s next, news is that Shashi Kapoor and Amrish Puri’s grandsons are also grooming themselves to make an entry into Bollywood.
Shashi Kapoor’s son, Kunal Kapoor had tried his hand in Bollywood with films like Junoon, Ahista Ahista and Vijeta, but could not manage to make a mark, and now his son, Zahan will be trying his luck. According to Vidhur Chaturvedi who runs an acting school, and is grooming Zahan, the boy like his grandfather has all the makings of a star. Puri’s son on the other hand did not make a foray into films, but his grandson, Harshwardhan is keen to follow his grandfather’s footsteps.
“Zahan looks a lot like Shashi Kapoor, exudes the same charm, has the same mannerisms, and is a very good performer too. Then there is Harshwardhan who has just started training with me. He is turning out to be one of the finest performers I have trained,” gushed Chaturvedi.
With this new crop of star kids grooming and training themselves, one wonders if any of them will be able to match up to their predecessors, or will they set their own trends?
