Getting ‘floor’ed

An elderly lady dancer gives Farhan Akhtar his cue to dance wildly on the floor

and having a blast. However, this was the first time that Farhan was doing a hardcore commercial number which required him to let go of his inhibitions, and choreographer Remo D’Souza was in a quandary.

“Having worked with Farhan earlier in Rock On!!, I know that he is very particular about what he does on screen. He’s realistic and does not like to go over-the-top for any scene or song. My brief to him was ‘dance to the beat of the song and have fun like people in clubs do’. There was no rehearsing. I just played the song and told him to start. He was doing pretty well, till he saw this elderly lady dancer doing some mad floor movements. Watching her, he just let himself go completely. He went down on the floor with amazing energy, leaving me and everyone around stunned,” said D’Souza, who shot the song over three days.
Shaadi Ke Side Effects, which is directed by Saket Chaudhary and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Pritish Nandy Communications, releases on February 28.

Sonakshi Sinha turns a localite!!

Sonakshi Sinha who was shooting for her forthcoming film Tevar in Sambhar district, Rajasthan last month spent some time with the local ladies there.
The actress, who loves interacting with people, tried the local cuisine and tasted delicacies like besan chakki, dal bati, ghevar and many more. The photo shows her dressed up like one of them and posing for the shutterbugs!
Tevar has Arjun Kapoor as her co-star and is directed by debutant director Amit Sharma.

Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon injured on set

Actors generally get injured when shooting action sequences, but lead pair Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, who debut in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti were injured while shooting for a romantic scene for the film in Kashmir recently.
It so happened that there was heavy snowfall and director Sabbir Khan asked the pair to sit on a 10 foot high swing. During the course of shooting, both Tiger and Kriti slipped and fell off the swing on to the ground which was covered with ice.
“The ice was hard and both were in great pain as it hit them with a force. I thought we may have to call it a day, but both were up on their feet and wanted to resume the shoot immediately,” said Khan
