A source closely related to the production house reveals, “There was an action sequence in which we were recording a helicopter’s landing. However, we miscalculated the speed and height of the helicopter’s landing due to which the rotors almost hit our producer, Arvind Babbal, as well as the team members standing besides him.” A major disaster was however averted as the crew bent down at the right time.
Similarly in another incident, Rohan Gandotra who plays the role of Aakash Joshi on the show Everest slipped while walking on a tight rope. Though he ended up having a ligament tear, the outcome could have been worse. “The shooting for the show was going great, and one scene had us training for the Everest climb. So, we had to walk on a rope over a river. While I was walking on the rope, I lost balance and I was dangling from a height with my foot entangled in the rope. Though there were safety equipments, had I fallen into the river, or on the ground the injuries could have been serious,” says Gandotra. The actor, nevertheless went on with the shoot, little realising that he had torn his ligament. “The pain was unbearable when I reached the hotel room,” says the actor.
