Comic relief on Sony Max
The channel has conceptualised two-three minute films, starring Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek and Paresh Ganatra that will act as fillers

To make the movie watching experience more entertaining, Sony Max has planned Bollywood style short format films and spoofs between movie breaks. Following its tagline, Deewana Bana De, the channel has launched campaigns titled Bittu Bak Bak and Fully Deewana that went on air from August 17. The fillers with an approximate length of two to three minutes will reveal interesting Bollywood facts presented light-heartedly. The channel has roped in comedians Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh and Paresh Ganatra for these videos.
“For a library channel like us, it becomes a little difficult . On a general entertainment channel, the audience is conditioned to come back, but on a movie channel that’s not the case. So it was thus imperative for us to think of an idea that was unique and holds the viewers’ attention,” says Udayan Pradeep Shukla, Vice President & Head, Programming – Sony Max and Sony Max 2. He further informs that films under Fully Deewane slot are comedy gags around the kind of films that the channel features; for Bittu Bak Bak, the channel has created an original character, Bittu (portrayed by Bharti) that features a banter between an inattentive student, Bittu and his teacher.
“The films are outright funny and will give the audience an opportunity to laugh in between the films,” remarks Udayan as he also informs that new films will be introduced every few days.
