Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Ward 149 Election Result 2026: As the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections approach, Ward 149 remains one of the key constituencies to watch. Voters in this ward will elect their corporator as part of the larger BMC election process, which determines the civic leadership of Mumbai for the next five years.

In the previous Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections held in 2017, Ward 149 was won by Susham Gopal Sawant of Bhartiya Janata Party. The winning candidate had secured 5927 votes, registering a victory margin of 2119 votes over the nearest rival.

The runner-up in the 2017 election from this ward was Sanjay Ishwar Kadam representing Shivsena, who polled 3808 votes.
