The security guard found a highly decomposed body of a newborn baby girl in the swimming pool of actor and TV artiste Mohnish Behl’s farm house near Mumbai’s Kharegaon area. Though clueless of who may have dumped the body there, the actor, who rushed to the spot, was present throughout as the police completed their investigation. An upset Behl now plans to sell off the bungalow that was built by his mother, yesteryear actress Nutan.

 

Breathless no more

Tabu, who was admitted to the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) hospital in Srinagar following breathing problems, got discharged after remaining under observation for three hours. The 42-year-old actress is currently shooting in Kashmir for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider. She had complained of breathing problems due to inhalation of smoke on the sets of the film, which is based on Shakespeare’s tragedy Hamlet. It also stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Irrfan.

 

Court case

A Delhi court has asked actor Raghubir Yadav to pay a monthly alimony of Rs. 40,000 to his estranged wife, thus dismissing his plea to lower the amount. The sessions court upheld the order of the magisterial court which had directed Yadav to pay the maintenance amount saying there was ‘no infirmity or illegality’ in it. Yadav had moved the sessions court against the October 2011 order of the magisterial court, stating that an annual income of Rs. 2.25 lakh, which was opposed by the opposite counsel

 

Detained by a bullet

Rakul Preet, of Yaariyan fame, was detained at the Delhi airport recently. While she was going through the security check during her travel to Mumbai, her hand baggage signaled a suspicious metallic object. On checking, it was found to be an 8mm bullet. The surprised actor was questioned for hours. The CISF officers later found that it was a dummy bullet which was apparently was used while she was shooting for a Tamil film months back and had unknowingly been kept in her bag for safety.
