Telugu historical drama film “Rudhramadevi” will be released on October 9 globally by Reliance Entertainment and Abhishek Pictures.
The Gunasekhar directorial, produced by Abhishek Nama, will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
With actress Anushka Shetty playing the role of the protagonist, “Rudhramadevi” is a based on a third century queen of the Kakatiya dynasty.

The film will also feature actors Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Vikramjeet Virk, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Nithya Menon, Baba Sehgal and Catherine Tresa. Its soundtrack and background score is composed by Ilaiyaraaja, while the costumes have been designed by Neeta Lulla.
