For a while now,speculation has been rife that father-son duo Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen together in either Sudhir Mishra’s Mehrunisa or Ayan Mukherji’s sequel to Wake Up Sid. But a soft drink brand has beaten both filmmakers by casting the Kapoors together in an advertisement. Ranbir has already shot for the commercial along with his father,to be aired from September 15 onwards.

The cola advertisement capitalises on the actors’ real life relationship as it features them as father and son. The brand is leaving no stone unturned to make this ad memorable. They started the campaign with a teaser which went on air on Sunday. Directed by Mukherji,the teaser revolves around a father dismissing his son’s chances of becoming a crorepati while the son has a plan in place. It ends with the theme music for Kaun Banega Crorepati. Whether the son becomes a crorepati by taking part in the show or by enjoying the soft drink remains to be seen.
