Russell Brand and Britney Spears hook up for promo

The British comic star,who is presenting the ceremony for the second year in a row,attempts to seduce the ‘Womanizer’ singer via telepathy in the short clip.

“Britney,this is the voice of your mind… go to Russell’s hotel room and abandon yourself. Give yourself to him,Britney. Sleep with Russell,” says Brand,who is infamous for his womanising ways.

The video shows the 27-year-old singer in a skimpy white bikini,thinking of having a fling with the comedian.

“Should I have played it up more when he was flirting with me last year? I have to admit there is something sexy about his dangerous ways,” says Spears.

This is not the first time the pair have starred in a promo for the music awards show.

Last year,Brand quizzed Britney in a short clip,alongside an elephant which neither of them seemed to notice.

The animal was a reference to the phrase “the elephant in the room” meaning an obvious subject which people don’t discuss to avoid offending people,in this case meaning the breakdown Britney suffered at the beginning of 2008.
