No more adjustments for Liv Tyler

Liv Tyler feels she is done with "adjustments" and is trying to focus on things she wants from life.

Hollywood actress Liv Tyler feels she is done with “adjustments” and is trying to focus on things she wants from life.

The 33-year-old actress, who came to know that Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler was her father at the age of eight, feels “grateful” that because of her mother Bebe Buell’s naiveness, she was forced to stay with different relatives during her growing years.

But she now wants to concentrate on her life’s priorities, reported Contactmusic.

“My mum was young and I think she might not have had the emotional tools to know exactly how to take care of me,so she turned to her family for support. I spent two years with my aunt,a year with my mum and two years with my grandparents.

“I feel grateful for those dynamics. I’m good at adapting,so it’s easy for me to suss out a situation and adapt to it. At this point in my life, however,I’m trying to define a bit more of what I want,as opposed to adapting to what other people want,” said Tyler.

The ‘Armaggedon’ star, who split from husband Royston Langdon in 2008 after five years together, says she will always put their six-year-old son Milo first.

“Since Milo was born,I’ve been going through all kinds of personal things – getting divorced and trying to allow myself the room to heal from that and rebuild my life.”

“Milo and I have been in such transition – I’ve been trying to be patient. I can’t go to work and be happy unless he’s happy and feels secure,” added Tyler.
