Johansson puts her Hollywood home up for sale

Johansson is planning to move base to the Big Apple as the actress has put her 1930s home up for sale.

Scarlett Johansson is reportedly planning to move base to the Big Apple as the actress has put her 1930s Hollywood Hills home up for sale.

The ‘Lost In Translation’ actress has put her Los Angeles home on the market at 3million pound. The 24-year-old had purchased the house for 4million pound,which means that Johansson is keen to move out despite suffering a loss of over 1 million pound.

The Spanish style estate in the Hollywood Hills was built in 1931. It has four bedrooms,five bathrooms and neighbours include Charlize Theron and Desperate Housewives Felicity Huffman and Orlando Bloom,the Daily Mail reported.

The home which was bought by Scarlett and her husband Ryan Reynolds in 2007 and has been restored to its former glory,as well as updated with eco-conscious upgrades including solar electric.

This is not the first time that Miss Johansson has taken a loss selling a property.

In April of 2008 she sold her Manhattan loft apartment for USD 52,000 less than the USD 1,950,000 she paid for the place in January of 2006.

Scarlett,who will next be seen in film Iron Man 2,and actor husband Reynolds are rumoured to be relocating to New York.

The couple own a USD 2million penthouse apartment on the upper Eastside which they bought in 2008.
