After several years of dating, Prateik Babbar has married his longtime girlfriend Priya Banerjee. The couple shared the happy news on social media, accompanied by their first pictures from their dreamy wedding ceremony. Along with the photos, the couple wrote, "I’ll marry you in every lifetime #priyaKAprateik." The wedding took place at Prateik's mother, actor Smita Patil's house in Bandra, Mumbai. While speaking to Vogue India, Prateik Babbar said, "We desired a ‘ghar ki shaadi’, and getting married to the love of my life here—the first house that my mom bought and my home—was the best way to honour her in spirit." While Priya Banerjee wore an ivory and gold lehenga with detailed threadwork and embroidery, paired with green kundan jewellery, Prateik Babbar chose an open sherwani with a drape shirt and dhoti set. He also wore a layered pearl necklace. He said, "I presume someone has overpowered his brain too much. He is not wanting to connect with anyone from this side of the family. He has decided not to call anyone." On the work front, Prateik will be seen next in Salman Khan-starrer Sikandar.
