Housefull 5 Movie Review: Akshay Kumar film opens to poor reviews

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Akshay Kumar's Housefull has earned Rs 11.4 crore as of 5 pm on Friday.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Housefull 5 has earned Rs 6.29 crore in India by 2 pm. The film’s opening day collection is expected to be between Rs 23 crore and Rs 25 crore.

In a BTS video of Housefull 5 song "Laal Pari", Abhishek Bachchan is seen performing Nora Fatehi's Garmi hook step. Amitabh Bachchan reacted to the clip by saying, "T 5402 .. hahaha .. what a fun fun fun ... !!!"

Trade site Sacnilk.com shared that by 10 am, Housefull 5 has earned around Rs 1.3 crore in India. The film's opening day collections are expected to hit Rs 23 crore to Rs 25 crore.

In an interview with India Today, Housefull 5 director Tarun Mansukhani said he has no problem with new mothers in Bollywood wanting to do an eight-hour shift, but the demand has to come with prior information. "No problem. Eight hours? I’ll need that many extra days and then we’ll go ahead. That's it," he said. "All I am saying is, 'tell me in advance'." added the director as he explained that the film shoots involve many moving parts, actor combinations, location schedules, and tight budgets.

Housefull 5 is introducing a unique dual climax concept. Viewers can choose between two versions, Housefull 5A and 5B, each revealing different killers in a murder mystery plot. Audiences will have the option to choose between Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B during ticket booking.

Just a day before the release, actor Shazahn Padamsee and her boyfriend, Ashish Kanakia, got married. The Housefull 2 actress tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend on June 5, 2025. Glimpses from the wedding have been shared online.

The film has recorded an advance booking collection of approximately Rs 13.94 crore, including block bookings, as shared by Sacnilk.com.
