WBBSE West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2023 to be released today at 10 am

The students can check their result at the official website wbbse.org or at wb.allresults.nic.in. In 2023, a total of 6,98,628 students had registered for the class 10 examinations.

WBBSE West Bengal Class 10 Result 2023: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will today (May 19) announce the Class 10 board results, state education minister Bratya Basu said. The Madhyamik result will be released at 10 am. Students can check their results at the official websites wbbse.org or at wb.allresults.nic.in.

The Class 10 Madhyamik exams were held from February 23 to March 4 between 12:45 pm to 3 pm. The first 15 minutes were given to read the question paper. The exams were held in a total of 2,867 exam centres. This year, a total of 6,98,628 students registered for the class 10 examinations. 

Taking to Twitter, Basu said, “19th May, 2023, Friday, 10 am, the Results of Madhyamik Pariksha 2023 shall be declared by WBBSE.” The results will be available on a slew of websites and mobile applications such as indiaresults.com and mobile app ‘Madhyamik Results 2023’ from 12 noon on that day, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education said in a notification.

School authorities will get marksheets and certificates of their students from various camp offices of the board from 12 noon of May 19, it said.

In 2022, 11,18,821 students appeared for class 10 exams which were held from March 7 and the overall pass percentage was 86.60 per cent. Over 6 lakh female students appeared for the class 10 exams whereas around 5 lakh male students appeared for class 10 exams. The result was declared by the board on June 3 at 9 am. 

In 2021, around 12 lakh students were to appear for the class 10 exams which were cancelled by the state government due to Covid-19. The students were assessed based on an alternate scheme.
