West Bengal Board Madhyamik Class 10th Board Exams 2026: According to the WBBSE Class 10th Board Exam schedule released earlier, the examinations will be held in a single shift each day. The daily exam timing is from 10:45 am to 2 pm, with the first 15 minutes allocated.

This year, 6,45,832 students passed out of 6,60,260 candidates who appeared for the examination, recording an impressive overall pass percentage of 93.72%. Stream-wise, the Science stream achieved a pass rate of 98.8%, followed by Commerce at 94.19%, and Arts at 92.54%.

An estimated 6.6 lakh candidates, 56.03 per cent of them girls, wrote the exams in a new format - using OMR sheets. This is the first semester-based exam for Class 12 students in the state.

Kalyanmoy Ganguly, WBBSE President, informed that this year's pass percentage has been recorded to be 100 per cent. Last year, 86.34 candidates were declared pass.
