The Class 12 results have been prepared on the basis of an alternative assessment scheme, devised by an 11-member committee. This evaluation scheme consists of three components. The first component carries a weightage of 50% and includes marks obtained by students in Class 10 examinations. In 2021, a total of 15,27,442 students had registered from the science stream out of which 14,95,097 have been successfully passed by the board. The science stream recorded an overall pass percentage of 97.88%

UP Board has released the Class 12 results today. Out of a total of 26,10,316 students who registered to appear for the class 12 exams, a total of 25,54,813 have been declared pass.

Over 56.11 lakh students had appeared in class 10 and 12 exams in 2020, with 30.24 lakh students (30,24,632) in High School and 25.86 lakh (25,86,440) students in Intermediate. In 2020, the high school and intermediate toppers had received a laptop and Rs 1 lakh as a token of appreciation.
