The Karnataka primary and secondary education minister, BC Nagesh, while sharing PUC 2nd year result details on Twitter, shared that the supplemental examination date will be announced later this month. Candidates need 35 per cent marks to pass PUC 2nd year and those who are not able to do so will have to sit for supplementary exams.
This year, a total of 61.88 per cent of students have cleared Karnataka 2nd year PUC exams. For girls, the pass percentage recorded is 68.72 per cent while for boys, it is 55.22 per cent. A total of 6,83,563 candidates had appeared for the offline exams. Of which, 4,22,966 have cleared class 12 i.e PUC 2nd year exams.
Karnataka 2nd year PUC results 2022 has been declared and students can now check their scorecards on the official website i.e karresults.nic.in. The link was activated at 12 noon on June 18.

The Science, Commerce, and Arts stream results will all be released at the same time. In the state, over 7 lakh applicants took the Class 12 board exams this year. From April 22 to May 18, 2022, a number of test centres in the state administered the Class 12 board examination. On all test days, the exam was given in a single shift from 10:15 am to 1:30 pm.

In 2021, the Karnataka state government had decided to promote all candidates without conducting examinations, in the wake of the Covid-19 situation. A special evaluation criterion was devised to calculate the 2nd year PUC results. As per the criteria, 45 per cent weightage was given to marks scored for SSLC (class 10), 45 per cent to I PU marks and 10 per cent to the internal assessment marks of II PU.
As many as 2,239 students had secured full marks (600/600) after the evaluation process. Of the total 6,66,497 students registered for PUC exams, 95,628 candidates secured distinction scores as evaluation considering marks of SSLC, I PU, and II PU.
