HBSE Result 2023 Declared: The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani today declared the result for class 12. The students can check their results at the official website – besh.org.in. This year, 81.65 students from BSEH Class 12 students have passed.

Nancy of Nav Bharat Senior Secondary School in Bhiwani has this year topped the Haryana Board exams. She scored 498 marks out of 500.

In 2023, the class 12 exams began from February 27 and conclude on March 28. The exams were held in a single shift from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

In 2022, class 12 board examinations was conducted from March 30 to April 29, 2022 in offline mode. A total of 2,90,000 students had registered for class 12 exams and 2.45 lakh students appeared for the exams and 2.13 lakh students passed the exams. The board had reduced the syllabus by 30 per cent.

Girls secured a total pass percentage of 90.51 per cent while boys recorded a total pass percentage of 83.96 per cent in 2022. The overall pass percentage for class 12 was 87.08 per cent. For the Arts stream pass percentage was 86.61 per cent, Science had a pass percentage of 85.84 per cent and the pass percentage for the Commerce stream was 92.52 per cent.

In 2021, the board exams were cancelled due to covid-19 and all the students passed class 12. The pass percentage was 100 per cent as compared to 80.34 per cent in 2020 and 74.48 per cent in 2019.

Court rejects NIA plea for polygraph test on men accused of harbouring Pahalgam attackers

A court in Jammu has rejected the NIA's plea to conduct a polygraph test on two men arrested for the Pahalgam terror attack. The court cited the right against self-incrimination and the need for reliability and voluntariness of statements as reasons for the rejection. The accused declined their consent for the test after the court explained the procedure in Urdu.
