GSEB Gujarat 12th Result 2024: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) on May 9 announced the HSC Science and general stream result 2024. The HSC 2024 result is available on the official website, gseb.org. The Gujarat Board conducted the class 12 exams from March 11 to March 26 for all the streams including science and general. Class 12 science results recorded 82.45 overall pass percentage which is an increase from 65.58% from the previous year. Similarly, general stream recorded at pass percentage of 91.93% which is a jump from 73.27% in March 2023. This year, boys have outperformed girls in the Science stream by a thin margin, as girls scored an overall pass percentage of 82.35 per cent, while led the year by scoring 83.53 per cent. In the GSEB HSC general stream, as many as 3,78,268 students appeared and of them 3,47,738 cleared. In GSEB HSC science, out of the 1,11,132 students appearing, as many as 91,625 cleared. The pass percentage in science group A is 90.11 per cent, in group B, it is 78.34 per cent and in group A and B combined, the overall pass percentage is 68.42 per cent. 81.67 per cent of disabled students are eligible for qualifying certificate (EQC). Morbi district maintained the top slot with 92.8 per cent students passing from Morbi alone. Chhota Udepur, however, has the least number of students passing, it is 51.36 per cent. This year, more than 1,11,000 students appeared in class 12 science stream and 3,50,000 students in general stream. In 2023, the overall pass percentage of Gujarat Board Class 12 Science stream was 65.58 per cent. English medium students have performed better than Gujarati medium with a passing percentage of 67.18 per cent. 65.32 per cent Gujarati medium students passed HSC Science stream exams last year.
