Media Matters
Communication with the media remained the topic of discussion at a meeting held recently at the Delhi Police headquarters. The Delhi Police spokesperson directed all the district DCPs to remain cautious when speaking to reporters and carefully choose their words while discussing a matter. The spokesperson, it is learnt, also told the officers not to panic if anything adverse is reported in the media. He told them to address the issues reported and ensure that the action is taken as deemed fit.
Room For Confusion
As ministries move into their new offices as a part of the Central Vista redevelopment, some officials are awaiting orders on which room at Kartavya Bhawan, or other complexes like Sankalp Bhawan, to occupy. Some others are facing the problem of double-booking, where the same rooms have been allotted to multiple officials. It is learnt that the first allottees to take possession and put up their nameplates outside have got the advantage, while the others are awaiting fresh allotments.
