Sena protests delay in civic body work

The Shiv Sena-bjp alliance of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) staged a protest in front of the civic headquarters over the failure of the civic administration to start work on Shiv Shrishti,a memorial to be set up at the old garbage dumping site in Kothrud. The saffron combine when in alliance with the NCP at the PMC in 2009 had announced the project of a memorial and made budgetary provision for the same.
