The National Chemcal Laboratory (NCL) faltered at their home ground yet again, losing to WPCA in the Rangachar Memorial Veterans Cricket Tournament.

The WPCA bowlers did brilliantly, restricting the NCL batting lineup and taking wickets at regular intervals. Sunil Mandan took three wickets for 13 runs, while Datta Pavle and Dnyaneshwar Jagdale took two each to bundle out the opposition for a meager total of 98.

The WPCA batsmen went about the run chase leisurely, but kept the scoreboard ticking as they reached the target of 99 in the 18th over.

Shaker Dalmiya and Amarendra Chitale scored 32 runs each, with the latter remaining unbeaten as WPCA wrapped up a comfortable six-wicket victory.

Cypress SF continued with their winning ways, beating PCMC in the second match.

Batting first, the PCMC opening pair of Vivek Malshe and Sunil Renuse put on 52 runs for the first wicket, scoring 34 and 20 respectively.

Later on,Vikas Shirole added another 31 runs, but PCMC could only manage an ordinary score of 128/9 in 20 overs.
