Bagul criticises PMC for failure to implement decisions
Congress leader Ulhas Bagul on Monday criticised the Pune civic administration on failure to implement at least 30 per cent of the decisions taken during general body meeting in last eight years. “The civic administration was asked to submit details of the number of decisions passed in the general body since 2002. Information from municipal secretary department reveals that 30% of decision have not been implemented.”

Cash stolen from a restaurant in KP
Unidentified persons stole cash worth Rs 2.14 lakh from Malaka Spice restaurant in Koregaon Park on Monday. Santosh Gaikar,accountant of the restaurant,lodged the complaint at Bund Garden police station. Police said the money was stolen from the cash counter of the restaurant. Hotel authorities suspect the role of the an insider in the theft.

Fifa team visits Balewadi
Pune’s bid to become the first city in Maharashtra to host an international football friendly match received a major boost on Monday when officials from the sport’s global governing body FIFA visited the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi to inspect the ground.
