From food bazaar to riding apparel to flea market, the NH7 Weekender has much more in store.
There’s been a lot of hullaboo about the variety of stages and genres at Bacardi NH7 Weekender, but this year, there’s much more to the music festival that will be held at Amanora Town Centre from November 2 to November 4.
The festival will be featuring two separate areas for merchandise and other funky stuff at the bazaar and the flea market. The bazaar will display stalls showcasing cushions, sling bags, clutches, coasters, lamps, footwear, apparel and more by brands like Poppuri,Mixxboxx,Iktaara,Artfeat and more. On the other hand, the flea market will feature only small haath gaadis (hand-carts) that sell only organic,recyclable,eco-friendly,handmade and free trade products.
There is also food bazaar that will feature a variety of snacks, beverages and desserts. With the absence of large food chains, the bazaar will have a number of local establishments putting up stalls.
“The event is meant to be an overall experience. Yes,there’s a lot of great music, and that will always be our focus, but we also pay a lot of attention to the other thing that make a festival fun for people. A music festival is about the overall experience, and it’s important to make that memorable,” says Vijay Nair,CEO,Only Much Louder, organisers of Bacardi NH7 Weekender.
Members of AIESEC,a global not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education, will set up a Global Village. Young interns from different countries will come together and organise small set ups selling food and products from their homeland. The Glabal Village will be themed on Asia Pacific on the first day,US and Europe on the second day and South America and Africa on the third day.
After the grand success at the Delhi edition of the music festival earlier last month, the Masterchef Challenge will be a feature in the Pune edition too. Different band members will be teamed with fans from the audience to compete in the Masterchef Challenge, which is an adaptation of the actual television reality show.
Besides, there’s a special treat for Royal Enfield bikers which comprises special discounts on tickets, free servicing, special parking and the Royal Enfield Cafe launching the latest line of Royal Enfield riding apparel. One can also test ride the new Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500.
For those who are overwhelmed with aura of the festival, there is a vintage disco area full of insane colour and funky costumes at the Bacardi Breezer Ballroom.
