On Wednesday,Rahul Bose was in the city to shoot with contestants of business reality show – The Pitch. The actor spoke about films,sports and his kiss in I Am. “If I were gay,I would tell the whole world about it. I just kissed a guy for the film I Am . It felt weird to kiss a person with a stubble! I wouldn’t do it again except for a very good film,” he said. Mainstream is not his cup of tea.

“Jhankaar Beats and Pyaar Ke Side Effects toed the thin line between mainstream and art house work,” he added. Bose’s next film is Kamal Hassan’s action flick,Vishwaroop which will release in 2012. “I always wanted to be part of a hard core action film. Vishwaroop is full of stunts,” he quipped. He has nine films in his kitty. Among them are projects with American,English and African directors. His Bengali film,Laptop,which tracks the impact of the gadget on people’s lives,is also ready for release. The second half of 2012 will also see the release of his “low budget” directorial debut,Motsmock. Apart from films,he’s looking forward to running the Mumbai Marathon,playing rugby after recovering from his “fourth broken nose syndrome” and organising a sports accessories auction in Mumbai next year. Also,by the end of December,six underprivileged children from Jammu and Kashmir will come to Sahyadri School,Pune,to study through his NGO – Foundation.
