The collection will roll out this month at 10 flagship Satya Paul stores across five cities. It will also be e-tailed on Jabong.com

They are the cutest couple on cartoon channels and their sense of style has inspired designers the world over. The latest to pay an ode to Disney’s iconic cartoons, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, is Satya Paul with a recently launched retro-modern collection titled “Mono Pop”.
Incidentally, this is also designer Masaba Gupta’s last collection for the label, where she was the youngest fashion director until a few months ago. The “Disney Mono Pop for Satya Paul” collection, which was formally launched at a soirée hosted at the brand’s store in the Palladium Mall, Mumbai, features saris, tunics, scarves, stoles, ties and accessories. Those who grew up watching the cartoons will remember Minnie for her cutesy bows (mostly red), polka dot dresses, and of course, colourful high heels. Drawing from her wardrobe styles, the collection comprises strong graphic prints in pop hues with the two characters splashed in monochrome and sepia tones. The saris though are the highlight and are priced Rs 11,995 onwards. The ready-to-wear garments and accessories are priced at Rs 2,995 onwards. The collection will roll out this month at 10 flagship Satya Paul stores across five cities. It will also be e-tailed on Jabong.com
