Court accepts closure report in case against former KMC principal

A case lodged against Singh last year, on a complaint filed by one Rohit Yadav, alleged that he had misused a huge amount of funds, released by the UGC, meant for the ‘upliftment of OBC students’.

In a major relief to former Kirori Mal College (KMC) principal Bhim Sen Singh, a Delhi court has accepted a closure report in a case against him on alleged misuse of UGC funds.

Special CBI Judge Narottam Kaushal said, “Considered in the light of observations and conclusions arrived at by investigating officer, I am of the opinion that material on record would clearly afford reasons to accept the closure report. Accordingly, the same is accepted.”
