Minor stabs man to death in Rohini, apprehended

According to the police, the incident happened at night on Wednesday.

The 16-year-old juvenile attacked the victim on the neck and in the abdomen. The victim was rushed to a Rural Hospital, Chandoli where the doctor pronounced him dead.

A man was stabbed to death and robbed off his mobile phone by a juvenile in Delhi’s Rohini area on Wednesday, the Delhi Police said. The accused has been apprehended.

According to the police, the incident happened at night on Wednesday.

“On Wednesday, at about 10:33 pm, a PCR call regarding a stabbing incident was received at PS Prem Nagar station. Police staff immediately reached the spot and learnt that the injured had already been shifted to SGM Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead,” Additional DCP (Rohini) Sandeep Gupta said.

Based on technical surveillance, the police then tracked down the juvenile and apprehended the accused from Prem Nagar area.

“During questioning, he admitted to the crime. The weapon used for the commission of the crime and the robbed mobile phone were recovered at his instance. Proceedings against the juvenile are being carried out. Further investigation is in progress,” Additional DCP Gupta added.
