It is an occasion worth celebrating and one can trust Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla to do it in style. The designer duo,to mark the completion of 25 years in the fashion industry,launched the book India Fantastique at Antilla,Peddar Road,Mumbai. Their friends,Nita and Mukesh Ambani,supported the project and,on Saturday,played host to the launch party. The evenings guest list comprised the designers patrons from across industries. The guests of honour were the Bachchans Amitabh,Jaya,Shweta Nanda and Aishwarya,whose efforts at getting back in shape were visible. Also in attendance were Karan Johar,Anjali Tendulkar,Adhuna and Farhan Akhtar,Deepika Padukone,Shobhaa and Dilip De,Parmeshwar and Adi Godrej,Namrata and Priya Dutt,Neerja and Kumar Mangalam Birla,Rita Dhody and Kapil Sibal. The celebration was not limited to a party alone. An original fashion theatre presentation showcased the best of Abu and Sandeeps couture creations,interspersed with dance acts. Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khans daughter Sara Ali Khan and Nita and Mukeshs daughter Isha Ambani were young debutantes on the ramp.
