Police get fresh handwriting samples of MLA Chaudhary

Chaudhary was also provided with a copy of the challan Friday.

Police on Friday got fresh handwriting samples of the Doon MLA from Himachal Pradesh,Ram Kumar Chaudhary,who has been charged with the murder of 24-year old Hoshiarpur girl Jyoti Kumari.

The specimens were taken to match with the nursing home record where Jyoti was forced to undergo an abortion as well as the signatures made on the bank deposit slips that were drawn before the money was transferred to the girls account by the MLA.

Chaudhary was also provided with a copy of the challan Friday.

The court of the chief judicial magistrate (CJM) Bhawna Jain set April 15 as the next date to scrutinise the challan. Police have charged Chaudhary and nine other accused in the case with murder and forgery.

In the challan,it has been revealed that after Jyoti got introduced to the MLA as an insurance agent,they developed a physical relationship.

However,when Jyoti said she wanted to continue the relationship,Chaudhary hatched a conspiracy along with four other accused Gurmeet,Dharampal,Paramjeet and Tilak Raj to kill her.

It has further been mentioned in the challan that after the MLA managed to convince the girl to accompany him,he made her switch off her mobile phone at Zirakpur.

Jyoti was made to drink liquor and punched in the vehicle before her body was thrown on the road in a semi-conscious state. She was later crushed under a truck.
