If after two years of trying for a baby there is no result,get yourself checked and have at least one child before 35,’’ Dr Nandita adds that new IVF treatments are less painful,less expensive,and not so much a physical and mental drain on women. Regular counselling is an integral part of the treatment,and there is constant upgradation in the field. “We will introduce surrogacy,laser hatching,egg,sperm and embryo donation and egg freezing for those who want to postpone child bearing. “Fifty per cent of infertility is the male factor and we’re happy to see that men are now open to treatment like sperm injections. The joy of helping someone have a baby is amazing and we love each moment of our job,’’ adds Dr Rishma.
