AIFF grassroot programme concludes

On the final day of All India Football Federation (AIFF) grassroots program,in the theory session the participants were told how to organise a grassroot football festival,and also the duties of ground organizers and coach educators were explained.

On the final day of All India Football Federation (AIFF) grassroots program,in the theory session the participants were told how to organise a grassroot football festival,and also the duties of ground organizers and coach educators were explained. Later,each participant was given responsibility with the teams and also on the pitches to organise the festival smoothly. In the evening session,a mini grassroots festival took place and a total of 57 trainees of St. Stephen’s grassroots program (boys & girls) of 6 to 10 years of age took part. On two separate pitches (B & D),matches for 6 vs 6 with small goals were held while on other two pitches (A & C),technical workshops were arranged. There were four rounds of 10 minutes each with three minutes of break to rotate the teams. Surinder Singh,qualified FIFA grassroot instructor and national selector/coach,took the grassroot programme course
