2 schoolboys missing,parents blame school

Two boys of Kendriya Vidyala in Sector 29-B were reported missing since Friday after their parents lodged a missing complaint with Industrial Area police station.

Two boys of Kendriya Vidyala in Sector 29-B were reported missing since Friday after their parents lodged a missing complaint with Industrial Area police station. The ninth standard students of the school did not return home after school authorities allegedly found one of them in a bathroom with a girl student with the other standing guard outside. Both the boys were told to bring their parents to school the day after,following which they went missing,the police said.

On Saturday,agitated parents of both the missing boys accused the school authorities of keeping them in the dark about Fridays incident. The girls parents were informed,but the boys were not.

Why did the teachers not inform us when they could call the girls parents? said the mother of one of the boys.

Amid all the hullabaloo,the police were intimated and a missing complaint lodged. We have lodged a missing report and circulated their photographs to the police in the vicinity. The boys will be found soon, said Yashpal Vinayak,SHO,Industrial Area police station.

The incident had occurred on Friday afternoon when school sweepers found a bathroom locked from inside with a boy student standing guard outside. They alerted the private security guard,who then found the other boy and the girl inside.

The girls parents were immediately informed,who came and took her home. But the boys did not return home.
