Range Forest Officer, Jhagadiya, Meena Parmar told this newspaper, “Hearing the screeching sounds of the hens in the coop, the farm attendants arrived and were shocked to see the python had taken four birds in its grip… Immediately, they called the forest officers and along with volunteers of animal NGOs, they reached the spot to rescue the python…”

Parmar added that after a struggle of almost two hours, the python had been caught and released in its natural habitat.
