Whether it was 58-year-old visually challenged Sakina Bedi, spokesperson of National Federation of the Blind, or Ravi Wagh, president of Blind Cricket Association, they were able to exercise their franchise. Visually impaired voters can bring a companion to assist them but with accessibility measures like Braille ballots and EVM markings they are encouraged to vote on their own.
