Roorkee, Jan 25 (ANI): A Madrassa in Roorkee has banned the use of social media and mobile phones to put a check on extremism. The imam of the madrassa Imamdul Islam, also imposed restrictions on the use of the internet. He said there was a need to exercise restraint on the use of social media. The madrassa's move over the ban on usage of mobile phones has come up after a suspect was arrested from Haridwar in connection with the recent Pathankot airbase attack.
