Centre clears repatriation of IPS officer Shyam Bhagat Negi to Himachal Pradesh

Shyam Bhagat Negi’s name was shortlisted in a panel of three IPS officers for the post of Himachal Pradesh DGP.

A former constable from Holalkere in the Chitradurga region, Ningappa was dismissed from police service a few years ago after not reporting for duty.

Mumbai, Feb 09 (ANI): Devika Rotawan, who was hit by a bullet in the 26/11 attack, said the mastermind behind the attack should be nabbed and hanged to death. Rotawan, who also aspires to become an IPS officer, said considering Headley’s statements he should not be spared but rather hanged. Victim’s father also expressed similar sentiments, saying the government should take cognizance of the matter and give corporal punishment to the Lashkar-e-Toiba terror agent.
